Endangered Voices

Big brands are one of the top donors to NGOs. But with bigger and more established NGOs vying for their attention (and donations), a small but significant organisation like SPNL and Homat Al Hima International needed to do something different to stand out. We recreated the sonics of big brands in the voice of the endangered animals. Intel’s sonic was recreated in the voice of the Galapagos Penguin, BMW’s in the voice of the Arabian Owl, VISA’s in the voice of the Humpback Dolphin, and so on. We tagged the big brands on social media in our audio requests and invited them to use the endangered animals’ sonics in their communication. We even hosted a playlist on Anghami and encouraged people to use the animal sonics as ringtones.
