In 2024, Abu Dhabi Festival (ADF) remained a leading force in the UAE’s vibrant arts and culture scene. For 21 years, the Festival had nurtured creativity and innovation while empowering the nation’s youth. It had long commissioned, produced, and presented world-renowned music and art legends alongside emerging talents.

In 2024, ADF set out to transform the festival to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the most recognized festivals worldwide, aiming to attract performers and audiences from across the globe. We partnered with ADF that year to create a new visual identity and brand expression that would distinguish them from other festivals and position ADF on the right trajectory i.e shifting perceptions toward a more dynamic, youthful, and vibrant festival experience.

The identity drew inspiration from one of the most iconic elements of performance arts: the spotlight. Being in the spotlight was the ultimate achievement for any artist, and it became the defining feature of ADF’s communication and brand expressions i.e an adaptable, dynamic element that came to life to reveal the festival’s greatness.
